Even when things happen that are misunderstood
Stop and consider the misfortune of others
The children, the friends, the sisters and brothers
More often than not we will find someone who
Is dealing with something much bigger than you
Fight hard to diminish that downhearted feeling
Be thankful, be grateful and soon you'll be believing
There are things in our lives to love and appreciate
And except that we become stronger no matter our fate!
Lynn, I am truly amazed at your writing! I L.O.V.E. this poem and the words speak so loud and clear to me. And you are right -- more often than not someone is dealing with something much bigger than you. I'll be jotting this little poem down in my writer's notebook!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your words. Thank you for your spirit. Shine on my friend! Shine on! :)
