Once Again . . .

Once again . . .
I watch the horror . . . with so many emotions running through me
Once again . . .
I feel  . . . I feel for all the innocent people who because of yesterday their lives will be forever changed
Once again . . .
I see the fear in people’s faces and wish I could reach out to them
Once again . . .
I realize that our world has changed
Once again . . .
I hope . . . I hope that as Americans we won’t allow the fear to take over but rather become stronger
Once again . . .

  1. Lovely poem that resonates with me today. Once again the ugliness of man attacks innocent lives. I cannot fathom the motives of these people.

  2. Yes, once again pain and sorrow is experienced. I do not understand the mentality that some people have to want to kill and injure the innocent. I pray that we, as Americans, don't have to go thru this once again, but each time it happens, we do become stronger and more diligent. Thanks for the beautiful Once again poem.

  3. Once again . . . you captured my thoughts and feelings. Will it ever end?

  4. I watched today one of the Newtown parents say: "Our hearts are broken, but or spirit is not." Events like Boston and Newtown break our hearts, but I, too, still have hope for my fellow humans.
