Reflections . . .

SOL Day 9

Now that we are about a fourth of the way through this month's challenge I thought I would take a few minutes to reflect.  I am continually blown away by the slices I have been reading. The ones that are so heartfelt I actually get goose bumps, the slices that make me smile and the ones that make me sit back and just think.  I try to read any where from 8 to 10 slices on most days and only wish I had time for more . . . sometimes I do!  I am also so appreciative of those who take the time to read my slices and for the generous comments that are left for me.  It's a wonderful way to stay connected with my friends, even though there are many miles between us, as well as getting to know so many of you as you share parts of your life.  So thank you to all, and especially to the ladies that created this awesome writing community!

  1. I think most of us would agree with you with everything you said! I so wish I had more time to read more slices ... but with almost 300 participating?!? Not going to happen. I be sure to read my favorite people (you included!) and then try to read a few new slicers. The slices are amazing! We have so many life stories to share -- we all matter! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  2. Every slice has a piece of life in it, so hard to turn away, but yikes there are a lot! Nice reflection, thanks for visiting my world.

  4. This is my first time slicing and I am amazed at all the participants! I want to read everything, everyday, but just don't have the time. I am really enjoying slicing and then reading the writing of others daily. Thanks for the reflection.

  5. I'm glad that we've connected these, is it years, Lynn? I do remember when you moved to New Mexico. Maybe someday we'll get to meet. I love reading everyone's "story" too, makes me happy to know that theee are so many people who are good and thoughtful in the world.

  6. I have my regulars I read on a daily basis and I try to get to a few others as well. It's a month of connections for all of us, really. I love hearing people reflect on the inspiration writing and commenting provide!
