Driving home last night the weather was glorious! The temperature was a balmy 81 degrees. Yes, 81 degrees . . . in Chicago . . .in March! The sunset was magnificent and my inspiration for this very short poem today!
Sky a blaze with reds
A diffusion of colors
Sinking . . . Slowly . . . Down
I love it! Your description is perfect. Thank you for that beautiful poem.
ReplyDeleteLovely description. I could see it even without the beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vision in your poem and the picture really clarified your words. Thanks, Lynn
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet, but the words say it all! Beautiful poem - and something to share with students: Quality vs. Quantity. It's not about how many sentences or how long it has to be. It's about word choice and what you are trying to say. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLovely - we have to learn to treasure those moments.
